This photographic series was created for the 'Envelope' exhibition in 'untitled BNC', Barcelona. It was exhibited from the 12th to the 18th of November. The idea behind 'From Plymouth Shore, was to create my own postcards of the area of Plymouth. I wanted to bring part of my home to Barcelona with the link of sea. The use of postcards for this work stems from where ever I travel I collect postcards, so instead of taking postcards from Barcelona I take my own there.

I decided on photographing the sea is to link to Plymouth to Barcelona. This is why I took the colour from the photographs, I wanted the viewer to not be distracted by the colour and focus on the ideas that the photographs hold.
