Having a couple of days of heavy rainfall, I wanted to document how it would affect a painted canvas. Applying thick layers of paint with a palette knife and leaving the canvas placed upright outside, it allowed the rain to strip the paint from the canvas. Due to the heavy rainfall, more of the paint had come away from the canvas in comparison to paintings such as ‘Rain Dance’ and ‘Rain Dance II’ which creates a substantial contract between weather and paintings.
