​Developing from the painting ‘Rain Dance’, I continued to explore the idea of recording the rain’s trace on wet paint. However, for this piece, I used a single canvas with a thick layer of acrylic paint that had a blue gradient going from dark blue to light. To record the rainfall, I led the canvas flat which showed the rain drops more, which is an aspect I really am pleased with.
